Worli Ambedkar Nagar Area Redevelopment Project

It's fascinating to learn about the history of Worli Ambedkar Nagar and its significance in the development of Mumbai. The inauguration plaque provides a glimpse into the past and highlights the efforts made by the government to provide housing for industrial labor in Bombay.

The fact that the colony has remained unchanged amidst the rapid growth of Mumbai is a testament to its historical importance and resilience. It would be interesting to explore further and document the changes and developments in both the colony and the surrounding areas over the years.

Preserving such historical sites becomes crucial not only for the sake of nostalgia but also to recognize the contributions and efforts made by individuals like Shri Balgangadhra Kher and Shri Jagjivanram in shaping the urban landscape of Mumbai. The colony stands as a living testament to their vision and the history of industrial labor in Bombay.
